WEBER, Octavia B (Tavy)- Age 94 (nee-Bederka) of Boca Raton, FL and formerly a long time resident of Ridgefield, NJ. Born in Cliffisde Park, NJ to Robert and Teresa (Tokas) Bederka. Octavia lost her only sibling, Stephen, to pneumonia prior to her birth. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond W. Weber, who passed in 1979.
Octavia is survived by her two daughters, Therese A Jerman (Charles Mutrux) of Deerfield Beach, FL and April M Pederzani (Paul P Pederzani III) of East Greenwich, RI. Octavia also leaves behind her grandchildren, Jennifer Jerman, Jeffrey Jerman, Paige...

Octavia is survived by her two daughters, Therese A Jerman (Charles Mutrux) of Deerfield Beach, FL and April M Pederzani (Paul P Pederzani III) of East Greenwich, RI. Octavia also leaves behind her grandchildren, Jennifer Jerman, Jeffrey Jerman, Paige Luken, Parker Luken, Peyton Luken and two step-grandchildren, Kayla Pederzani and Paul Pederzani IV.
She was a very active volunteer at both her daughters' schools, and then later in life Octavia volunteered for many charities through her church and local animal shelters. She worked at Bendix, Lipton Tea Company and CPC International before her retirement in 1984.
Octavia was an avid gardener, so much so that despite her struggles with illnesses in later years, she was determined to return to her home and resume her gardening tasks. Along with gardening she loved animals and cooking and enjoyed sharing her extensive knowledge with anyone who asked.
A wake will be held at Kraeer-Becker Funeral Home, 217 E Hillsboro Boulevard, Deerfield Beach, FL on Monday, November 28th from 5pm to 7pm. A funeral mass and celebration of Octavia's life shall be held at St Matthew's Church, Ridgefield, NJ on Saturday, December 3rd with a private memorial service at Madonna Cemetery, Fort Lee, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Tri-County Animal Shelter, Boca Raton, FL. Arrangements entrusted to Kraeer-Becker Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Deerfield Beach, FL.
